ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a Senior Magento 2 Full Stack Developer to help build and scale our US eCommerce platforms. You will work directly with a US engineering and product team, implementing complex features, improving performance, and contributing to architectural decisions. Communication is fully in English, with partial overlap with US time zones.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Develop custom Magento 2 modules, themes, and integrations • Own features end-to-end: development → testing → deployment → support • Extend core Magento functionalities (DI, plugins, observers, UI components) • Integrate Magento with ERP/CRM/marketing systems (REST/SOAP/GraphQL) • Optimize performance (indexers, caching, DB queries, frontend speed) • Collaborate daily with the US team (standups, reviews, discussions) • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards • Mentor mid-level developers and share Magento best practices • Improve development processes, tooling, and architecture

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 7+ years in web development • 5+ years hands-on Magento 2 (2.4.x) experience • Strong PHP 8, OOP, and design pattern knowledge • Deep expertise in custom Magento development (modules, UI, DI, events) • Theme development experience (XML/PHTML/LESS/Knockout) • Strong MySQL knowledge (schema, queries, performance) • REST API experience (GraphQL is a plus) • Git proficiency (PRs, feature branches, code reviews) • Performance optimization for high-load Magento stores • Experience with Linux & Magento CLI • Strong understanding of security practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) • RabbitMQ • Varnish • Redis • Docker • Elasticsearch/OpenSearch • Excellent English communication skills • Ability to work with partial US time-zone overlap

NICE TO HAVE: • Adobe Commerce (Enterprise/Cloud) • Magento certifications • Experience with PWA/headless (PWA Studio, Vue Storefront, React/Next.js) • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) • Experience in the book industry
